ED III / Instrumentation Designer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is looking for ED III / Instrumentation Designer t o work on the engineering and project management services in Al Khobar office, on our Offshore Maintain Potential Program (OMPP) . OMPP is a multi - year, multi program venture covering both greenfield and brownfield offshore projects in Saudi Arabia. The scope of this program includes Engineering & Design, Procurement and Construction Management support . <br><ul><li> Develops i nstrument ation and c ontrol drawings, within company and industry standards and codes , to support completion of engineering deliverables </li><li> Creates and modify instrumentation drawings involving I SS, ILD , i nterconnection diagrams, w iring diagrams, l ist of n ameplates, IIS, block diagram, panel layout, instrument a nd cable schedules, BOM, etc </li><li> Perform o ffshore site visit to collect instrumentation and control data when required </li><li> Assists in the preparation of bid evaluations </li><li> Prepares and provide estimates of time, quantities, materials and labor required for activities related instrumentation and control drawing deliverables </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> An Associate Degree, Higher Diploma or Diploma in a Instrumentation is requiredwith minimum 6 years experience </li><li> A full understanding of the materials and methods normally used in their discipline </li><li> Knowledge of Saudi Aramco drawing preparation standards as SAES-A-202 , SAEP-334 is a plus. </li><li> Capable of interpreting key documents and drawings from instrumentation and control as well as other disciplines as process, piping, structural, electrical, mechanical, etc. </li><li> Competent user of SPI , MicroStation or any other related instrumentation CAD/D software. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
