Occupational Therapist Rehab Specialist

Þpartment Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) Job Summary In addition to being responsible for performing the standard duties & responsibilities of the staff Occupational Therapist, this position functions in an advanced clinical support role assisting leadership in the areas of clinical competencies, clinical program development, and quality initiatives. Required Qualifications - Require a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy; Advanced degree preferred. - Require a minimum of five (5) years of clinical practice in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in inpatient or outpatient rehab, or acute therapy, as well as previous Clinical Instructor experience for level II or similar student clinicals. - Require a minimum of one (1) level two certification from the approved Rehab Specialist certification list. - Require membership in a State or National level professional association. - Require successful completion of the Occupational Therapy Fieldwork Certification Program. Preferred Qualifications Mandatory Education Preferred Education Required License and Certs FL OT: Florida Occupational Therapist Preferred License and Certs BLS: Basic Life Support
