The IWS WE provides technical input to the well construction, completions, well intervention and abandonment phases, from the concept and tendering stage through project commencement, execution and project close out. During tendering phases, in addition to engineering work, the engineer will be providing technical input to the commercial and procurement teams. During planning and execution stages, the engineer interfaces with stakeholders to ensure safety, well integrity and cost effective job execution.<br><br><b> As a Well Engineer, you will be responsible for: </b><br><ul><li>The IWS Well Engineer will take the ownership of delivering well design, technical requirements and operational plans to accomplish both Baker Hughes and customer's technical and financial goals. The well engineer drives close engagement with service delivery, HSE, finance, commercial and sales, and other Baker Hughes product lines.<br></li><li>In this role, they will be involved in the planning and execution of IWS projects. The main responsibilities are:<br></li><li>Ensuring all engineering activities are in line with HSE policies and procedures, and drive HSE culture by setting example through safe work practices.<br></li><li>Preparation of well design, well plan and operational procedures for construction, completion, intervention and/or abandonment of wells in area of responsibility.<br></li><li>Preparing integrated risk assessments per well, operational time and well cost estimates.<br></li><li>Preparing, participate and lead peer reviews, peer assists and other quality assurance activities related to the project.<br></li><li>Providing engineering recommendations and advice to the project team.<br></li><li>Evaluating and implement best practices and technological advancements to IWS operations, document and share lessons learned.<br></li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br><b> To be successful in this role you will: </b><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree preferably in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with MS in Petroleum/Oil & Gas or Well Engineering.<br></li><li>Have at leats 8 years of experience in well construction, completions, intervention and/or optimization. Competences should include drill bits/mills, BHA design, engineering simulations, field operations, preparation of programs, or similar.<br></li><li>Able to communicate in English, oral and written.<br></li><li>MS office suite, power BI or other analytical tools, well engineering and design software (for example: hydraulics, torque and drag, casing/tubing design) desirable<br></li><li>Ability to synthesize complex topics into clear and simple messages. Leadership skills, team work.
