<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br><b>Buyer - Hull (Site Based) </b> <br><br> Wood Process & Energy are seeking Buyer services with demonstrable Offshore & Onshore expertise to support a Rough Gas Storage Facility project for a duration of 5 months, based in Hull. <br><br><b> Join a culture of innovation , pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. </b> <br><br> The role purpose is to support the Supply Chain Focal Point for a specific project and work stream whilst carrying out all duties with regard to issue of enquiries, evaluation of tenders, award, administration, expediting, inspection, invoice clearance and close out of purchase orders. <br><br>If all of this sounds good to you, review the typical responsibilities of the role and the requirements of the position below, then follow the link to apply and start your journey with Wood. <br><br><b> Prime Responsibilities & Duties: </b><br><ul><li> Process orders through in a compliant manner, maximizing usage of existing agreement holders wherever possible </li><li> Issue prequalification questionnaires (where necessary) to selected companies, preparation of tender list notes </li><li> Receive and analyze tenders, arrange review meetings with budget holders, clarify outstanding queries, produce bid summaries </li><li> Prepare and submit order memorandum where appropriate </li><li> Issue enquiries for required equipment / materials / services and resolve any pretender queries </li><li> Prepare and issue purchase orders </li><li> Manage post order administration including variations, expediting and inspection requirements, invoice queries, completion of performance feedback (FPAL) </li><li> Issue and maintain project procurement schedules </li><li> Issue purchase order close out reports </li><li> Highlight any issues that threaten, or impact required delivery by exception </li><li> Support key interfaces as per project and functional organograms </li><li> Work closely with Implementation and Design Engineers to ensure delivery of required goods and services to support work scope programmes </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>At Wood, we understand and acknowledge that everyone is different, and we are committed to equal opportunities and want to access all of the talent that is out there.
