Senior Manager Project Execution

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager Project Execution to ensure the successful and on-time project delivery within the project management discipline. <br><br>Job Objective:<br><ul><li> Performance management of project execution of nominated projects inclusive of financial, technical and operations. </li><li> Management of Project Management discipline inclusive of systems, procedures and resources </li><li> Interface with Group to ensure best practices for Project Management are incorporated </li><li> Management of the Construction Management discipline </li></ul><br> Key Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Foster and facilitate continuous improvement in all areas of project performance and related services. </li><li> To oversee the successful set up and delivery of all nominated projects </li><li> Ensure that the project set up procedures and implementation strategies are complied with for each project </li><li> Allocate appropriate project management resources to enhance the project's success </li><li> To ensure the attainment of the highest project management standards through the application of Company Procedures and development of project plans. </li><li> To ensure Company Policies and Procedures are being implemented </li><li> Exercise good human resources management skills in particular communication and leadership </li><li> Convene regular functional meetings for the dissemination and discussion of information/issues </li><li> Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the Company business plan </li><li> Ensure that staff resources are effectively utilised and managed and given opportunities for training and career development </li><li> Facilitate a teamwork approach with all stakeholders (Internal employees, clients, corporate members) </li><li> Ensure that the Project Management department structure and resource base is maintained and developed. </li><li> Ensure that Company's Core Values are communicated to and understood by the Project Management department. </li><li> Communicate company Business objectives and targets to the Project Management department. Motivate the Team to achieve agreed key objectives and profit targets through the joint development of action plans and by obtaining their personal commitment to them. </li><li> Participate as a member of the Strategic Leadership Team and other committees as required. </li><li> Ensure that the company Strategic Leadership Team is made aware of important matters concerning the Project Management Team by the issue of a monthly report and the provision of other written communications as and when necessary. </li><li> Participate in bid management processes. </li><li> Participate in the risk assessment of tenders </li><li> Participate where appropriate in the post tender pre-award negotiations including either personally or via the proposed Project Manager </li><li> Promote the effective liaison and maintain harmonious relationships with Clients. </li><li> Maintain good employee relations and projection of the company's image to clients, public, and other third parties. </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Qualifications: </b><br><ul><li> Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Engineering Discipline </li><li> Tertiary Project Management qualifications </li></ul><br><b> Knowledge, skills and experience: </b><br><ul><li> A minimum of 15+ years post graduate experience in Project & Engineering Management </li></ul><br><br><b> Personal attributes: </b><br><ul><li> Deliver Results Make Decisions, Lead Execution and Take Initiative </li><li> Set Direction - Think Strategically, Plan and Lead Change. </li><li> Enhance Relationships - Communicate Build Collaboration and Influence. </li><li> Engage and Motivate - Empower People, Lead by Example and Recognise and Reward. </li><li> Strong emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity </li><li> Ethical and professional conduct </li><li> Effective Leadership </li><li> Excellent motivational and organizational skills </li><li> Refined interpersonal and communications skills nt relationship and networking ability. </li></ul><br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
