Commissioning Engineer

<p><strong>Position:</strong> Commissioning Engineer - Mechanical</p>

<p><strong>Education: </strong>Can be a graduate engineer in a mechanical, refrigeration, HVAC or controls/ automation discipline</p>

<p><strong>Job explanation:</strong></p>

<p>The purpose of the HVAC/ mechanical commissioning engineer is to test &amp; prove that each piece of HVAC/ mechanical equipment used to cool a datacenter works as per the building owners design specifications and intent. Once our engineers have tested and proven that each piece of equipment operates and performs as per design intent, we then test this equipment as part of a complete system. For example, when our engineers have tested each chiller in a chilled water system, then all the chillers are tested together as part of a system to prove redundancy and resilience as per owners&
39; design intent.&middot;</p>

<p>Testing of individual equipment and equipment in a system includes testing of the associated control systems which operate and monitor the status of all equipment in a system.</p>

<p><strong>Type of candidate:</strong></p>

<p>Can be apprenticeship trained trade person who has worked in the mechanical/ HVAC, refrigeration and/or building controls profession.</p>

<p>Most important thing to focus on with any candidate is that they can demonstrate experience of working with HVAC &amp; mechanical equipment and understand what commissioning of this equipment means</p>

<p>Have experience of installation and commissioning.</p>

<p>Have experience of commissioning control systems</p>
