Commercial Manager - Manufacturing

The Yatala factory is home to the innovative Siemens Fusesaver, a product that is helping eliminate up to 80 percent of sustained electricity outages on rural networks in over 30 countries. We currently has an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager in our Global R&D and Manufacturing facility in Yatala, QLD. This role reports to the Country Business Unit Finance Manager and will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the business segment. Key responsibilities will include: • Preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts as well as monthly business reports for local and international management to effectively control and communicate the status of the factory. • Effective controlling profiles to ensure potential control/performance deficiencies are identified and rectified in a timely manner. • Management of all day to day commercial operations of the factory. • Implementation and control cost centre and factory cost plans. • R&D project controlling in close alignment with global R&D. • Supporting local and international sales activities. The successful candidate will have a degree in a finance related discipline with demonstrated previous work experience preferably in a manufacturing controlling or commercial project management function. Strong practical SAP know-how and solid knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) are essential. The successful applicant will be able to operate comfortably within complex corporate guidelines whilst remaining result focused and possesses strong communication skills in an international and culturally diverse business environment. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and your ability to build sound working relationships internally and externally will ensure your success in this role.
