Maintenance Focal Point

<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />
<br />
Massy Wood is seeking a Maintenance Focal Point to be the fkey person of contact between the Company and the respective Clients to ensure Contract deliverables are met. Responsible for coordinating the maintenance resources for assigned Contracts to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and safely in compliance with Client and Company policies and procedures and HSSE standards for the respective Clients.</p>

<ul>
<li>Responsible for understanding the manpower requirements for the respective Clients and ensuring competent resources are provided.</li>
<li>Assess effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal, team and Client performance.</li>
<li>Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and achieve goals.</li>
<li>Provide leadership and motivation to the team, guiding and supporting all resources in the execution of work in a safe, organised and effective manner.</li>
<li>Liaise with operations to analyse and solve operational and performance problems when required.</li>
<li>Create training plans for all assigned resources to assure competency and personal development.</li>
<li>Identify improvement opportunities that add value to both the company and the client.</li>
<li>Validate all consumables, spares, tools and test equipment for the discipline and ensure the availability of PPE for all resources.</li>
<li>Active participation in the investigation of incidents and in RCFA (Root Cause Failures Analysis)</li>
<li>Possess an in-depth knowledge of contract terms and conditions and ensure the execution of the Contract in compliance within these terms &amp; conditions.</li>
<li>Ensure that Massy Wood Group Ltd. QMS systems and procedures are implemented by the team.</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring all activities are compliant to the HSSE standards of the Company and its Client.</li>
<li>Demonstrate HSSE leadership on all activities and ensure that HSSE / Responsible Care is the primary focus of the team.</li>
<li>Implement programs to improve HSSE awareness at work site.</li>
<li>Manage reputation and risks to ensure a continuous and safe profitable business delivery.</li>
<li>Ensure contract personnel support Methanex CMMS.</li>
<li>Ensure effective sub-contractor administration where required.</li>
<li>Ensure proper maintenance of all facilities utilised on site.</li>
<li>Performs all other related job functions as required</li>
</ul>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b></p>

<li>Bachelor&
39;s degree (B.A.) in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
<li>Minimum of ten (10) years&
39; experience within a maintenance or technical function in the petrochemical industry</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to provide direction to, listen to and inspire others.</li>
<li>Motivate teams, encourage teamwork and empowerment.</li>
<li>Experience driving and assuring HSSE standards.</li>
<li>Experience in maintenance strategies</li>
</ul>
