Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Crew Training Scheduling Department. Coordinate work load with Training Scheduling staff. Supervises daily activity of the Training Scheduling staff. Assist with orientation of new personnel. Train and communicate new policies and procedures. Provide staff with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving disputes. Promote smooth interactions with other departments and foster good interdepartmental relations. Demonstrate good judgment and reasoning when investigating and solving problems. Promote a high degree of morale and spirit of motivation within the office. Demonstrate ability to tactfully handle difficult situations. Recognize and perform duties which need to be performed although not directly assigned. Discuss and help resolve problems or grievances. Perform all duties in an independent manner with minimal direction and supervision. Qualification Maintenance: Drive down crew training budget though proper scheduling of required qualifying training events. Data Entry: Ensure all training data is entered into appropriate digital data tracking tools. Quality Assurance: Verify accuracy of qualification data and crew schedules maintained in digital scheduling and record keeping software. EBC Training Scheduling: Ensure timely EBC training is scheduled for FAA inspector qualifications. Instructor Currency: Ensure timely scheduling of Instructor training events. Training Scheduling: Develop optimal schedules pertaining to all categories of training for the Training Department. Training Pilot Open Time: Ensure event coverage thru means of bidding open time system in compliance with CBA requirements. CBA Compliance: Ensure department meets contractual and regulatory compliance. Software Support: Aid IT in maintaining the Company's approved electronic software with proper administration, code implementation, software testing, and general troubleshooting. Budget Analysis and Reconciliation: Support management team and finance department with budget reconciliation and analysis. Provide data and analytical support for the training scheduling and training planning processes. Effectively work with large amounts of training requirements and analyze to effectively allocate resources. Track trends to identify and mitigate risks of current processes and methods. Ensure standard processes and procedures are consistently maintained. Records Support: Assist in record keeping and qualification maintenance. Travel Support: Assist in booking hotels and transportation for crew members assisting training events. On-Call and After-Hour Support: Serves as on-call personnel for the Training Department required to answer the on-call phone and respond to and resolve after-hours issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3-5 years experience 2-3 years of experience in regulatory or contractual record keeping. Must be able to determine the accuracy of data received for input. Must have basic typing skills while ensuring data accuracy. Must possess the ability to create simple models for data tracking and reporting. Must have the ability to test accuracy of tracking and data entry tools. Must possess the ability to understand user related issues and resolve in a team environment.
