Systems Architect - Structured Finance Value Stream

The Role: Systems Architect Grade (relevant for internal applicants only): 13 The Location: Princeton, NJ or NY, NY (Onsite 2 days a week) Team S&P Global structured finance value stream technology team consists of geographically diversified software engineers responsible to develop scalable solutions by working directly with product development team. Impact You will enable S&P ratings business to provide best in class end-to-end analytical, commercial and customer experience by building feature rich solutions including big data engineering, analytics, business intelligence and workflow capabilities. What you can expect An unmatched experience in handling huge volumes of data, analytics, visualization, and services over cloud technologies along with appreciation in product development life cycle to convert an idea into revenue generating stream. Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of software engineering experience as individual contributor Develop architectures for software products following the principles of well architected framework Long standing hands-on experience in building web applications, APIs, etc. using java and/or .net technology stack Experience in wide range of technologies to develop software products end-to-end involving UI, APIs, Databases, etc. Experience in building DevOps pipelines for applications and infrastructure Experience in data engineering, SQL/NOSQL databases, Big Data, and Analytics Familiarity with Information Security, and experience in addressing security vulnerabilities Strong knowledge and experience on cloud technologies and services Migration of monolithic applications deployed on on-premises data centers to cloud by rearchitecting the applications Expectations Develop architectural runway for the value stream, present during the Program Increment (PI) planning Evaluate the architecture and design options by developing proof of concepts Provide thought leadership Coach and mentor the teams Gain trust and respect so the teams would follow guidance provided Review the software product design and implementations Interface with corporate InfoSec team, perform necessary assessments, ensure controls are met Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated minimum base salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 depending on experience, with addition to bonus. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
