The Impact: The Scrum Master position at S&P Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of customer value using the Scaled Agile Framework. The Scrum Mater contributes significantly to their team’s success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on predefined business priorities. Act as Servant leader to an Agile team Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from Scaled Agile practices and values Coach Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement Guide the Agile team to consistently delivery customer value Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams Facilitate Scrum events including, Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration reviews, and Retrospectives. Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team. Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency Work with peer Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Agile Coaches to increase the effectiveness of Scaled Agile What We’re Looking For: Experience leading teams as a Scrum Master Excellent communication and collaboration skills Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) Self-confidence Strong sense of urgency when needed Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks Team-first, servant leader mentality Preferred Qualifications: Certified SAFe Scrum Master Certified PSM or CSM Data processing experience Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $115,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
