Physician Liaison

Þpartment Patient Registration Job Summary The Physician Liaison facilitates the growth of referrals and plays an important role in establishing and maintaining long-term and profitable relationships. As part of the marketing team, the physician liaison will market to both staff physicians and non-staff physicians all lines of service both inpatient and outpatient as well as community events that SMHCS participates in as a system. Responsible for sustaining referrals by identifying opportunities for improvement within our system in order to exceed physician’s expectations. Provides physician offices with the tools necessary to easily make referrals to SMHCS and ensure SMHCS is providing the physicians and their patients with excellent service. Required Qualifications - Require a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a business or healthcare environment. - Require a Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare related field. Sales experience may substitute on a year for year basis for required degree. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer previous experience in the sales of healthcare services. - Prefer demonstrated people, customer service, communication and presentation skills. - Prefer demonstrated computer management skills. - Prefer the ability to demonstrate integrity and high ethical standards. - Prefer the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff. - Prefer demonstrated ability to make decisions quickly and objectively. Mandatory Education BD: Bachelor Degree Required License and Certs FDL: Valid Driver's License
