Construction Site Supervisor

<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

Massy Wood is recruiting for a Construction Site Supervisors for one of our projects based in Trinidad.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>De velop and optimize construction activities work breakdown structure (WBS) for assigned project(s) based on the relevant Project Management Methodology (PMM) Stage Gate requirements.</li>
<li>Develop and optimize construction project scope and documentation with inp ut from all internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Develop and optimize construction activities input into the integrated project execution plan for assigned project(s) including looking for opportunities within the portfolio of projects, and in line with oil and gas and petrochemical industry codes and standards.</li>
<li>Develop and optimize construction activities manhours, resource allocation and cost estimate for assigned project(s).</li>
<li>Develop and optimize integrated construction schedule based on agreed WBS for ass igned project(s) in line with Scheduling guidelines and internal and/or external benchmarks.</li>
<li>Develop and optimize construction tendering plan for assigned project(s) seeking savings from e - auctions and portfolio in line with Supply Chain Management guideli nes.</li>
<li>Review gate review package and documentation for assigned project(s) as per relevant PMM Stage Gate requirements and support Internal Decision Board preparation, meeting and post meeting follow - up actions.</li>
<li>Develop and implement implementation Health S afety Security and Environment (HSSE) plan for assigned project(s) during design, procurement and construction phases per HSSE management policies and guidelines.</li>
<li>Develop and implement Risk Management Planincluding timely closure of risk mitigation action plans during construction activities for assigned project(s) per Risk Management guidelines.</li>
<li>Develop and implement Interface Management Planincluding timely closure of action plans during construction activities for assigned project(s) incorporating internal and external interfaces.</li>
<li>Ensure Document Management plan is implemented and ensure compliance to requirements during the construction phases of the assigned project(s).</li>
<li>Conduct weekly, monthly,and quarterly performance reviews and meetings with construction contractors to ensure construction contract terms and conditions are achieved for schedule, cost and quality are achieved, ensuring issues are identified and actions tracked to closure.</li>
<li>Monitor the performance of construction activities including compliance, and value assurance activities, and flag issues to Construction Manager and/or Project Manager or Management in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Monitor the performance of material procurement activities including timely closure of vendor queries, receipt of materials, issuance to site team, care and custody of materials on site and contract management actions, and flag issues to Construction Manager and/or Project Manager or Management in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Ensure all HSSE incidents are notified to the Construction Site Supervisor, Construction Manager and/or Project Manager with less than 24 hours of occurrence.</li>
<li>Monitor the performance of construction activities including management of the construction contractors and site management and inspection and flag issues to Construction Manager and/or Project Manager or Management in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Monitor the performance of commissioning activities in accordance to Pre Start-up Review and Management of Change process and flag issues to Project Manager and/orManagement in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Monitor and sign-off mechanical completion and facility handover activities and flag issues to Construction Manager and/or Project Manager or Management in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Monitor cumulative construction performance on schedule, cost and quality and inform Management of variations against approved performance targets in a timely manner.</li>

<li>Diploma in Engineering or related field from a recognised university.</li>
<li>Minimum of seven (7) years&
39; experience in construction / supervision in oil and gas industry</li>
<li>National citizen or permanent resident of Trinidad &amp; Tobago.</li>
