In this role, you will drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.<br />
<br />
As a Lead Engineer - Technology Support (m/f/d), you will be responsible for:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods</li>
<li>Connecting the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business</li>
<li>Interfacing and communicating as a technical expert for the deployment of new products and services with operations, clients, Product Management, Training &amp; Development department and the associated Development team</li>
<li>Documenting findings from field tests. Ensuring all pertinent performance and operational data are collected and analyzed. Providing feedback on operational aspects to engineers in the associated Development team and so as regions</li>
<li>Providing worldwide technical support via the Technical Support Portal for LWD Services surface software and downhole hardware</li>
</ul>

To be successful in this role you will:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have completed Bachelor studies (or higher) in Engineering/Technology or equivalent</li>
<li>Have professional experience as LWD Field Engineer and/or Technical Support with Baker Hughes. Experience from regions service delivery teams is highly appreciated</li>
<li>Have experience of high end LWD services such as VisiTrak, MagTrak, SoundTrak &amp; FasTrak</li>
<li>Be fluent in technical English, written and spoken and have outstanding communication skills</li>
<li>Have experience with Baker Hughes drilling software packages (Advantage, Cadence), as well as common office software</li>
<li>Be available to travel as needed to support regions, including Field Tests</li>
