Business Systems Manager

<p>We are recruiting for Business Systems Team Manager for our IT team in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for the management of Business Systems, working in close collaboration with the IT & Business Systems Director to implement Business Systems strategy and deliver effective business systems.</p>

<p><strong><u>Key Areas of Responsibility </u></strong></p>

<ul>
<li>To implement effective Business Systems management meeting business needs.</li>
<li>To assume responsibility and accountability for delivery of an optimum Business Systems service and related projects.</li>
<li>To maintain appropriate standards and implement policies for the effective Business System use across the company and monitor compliance with those policies and practices.</li>
<li>To ensure adoption and implementation of Business Systems best practice throughout the organisation across all locations.</li>
<li>To ensure effective management of all Business Systems with particular emphasis on ensuring delivery of the key responsibilities and objectives of the Business Systems Team in accordance with the requirements of their job descriptions/role.  This includes setting objectives, monitoring ongoing performance, carrying out performance appraisals, holding regular team briefings to share company information with the team, one to one coaching and mentoring as required and good people management practices to help ensure a high level of employee engagement across the team.</li>
<li>To be the point of escalation within the team for all Business Systems related matters.</li>
<li>To play a key role in further developing the culture and focus necessary for the organisation to achieve its Business Systems overall goals and to provide ongoing direction, support, coaching and mentoring to the organisation in pursuit of those goals.</li>
<li>To establish and cement strong relationships at appropriate management levels across the company to ensure a broad organisational understanding, working as 'One Team' to achieve best performance and outputs.</li>
