<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>I am recruiting a dedicated LSA to provide one-to-one, class based support to a child with challenging behaviour and complex needs.<br /><br />The child is easily distracted, and as a result distracts their peers too, so you will be helping to refocus and encourage him to take part and enjoy the learning activities. <br /><br /><br />To be considered for this position you will have the following:</p><ul><li>A minimum of grade C at GCSE level in Maths and English</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of a range of behaviour management techniques</li><li>The ability to work using your own initiative and as part of a close-knit team</li><li>Previous experience of supporting a child with challenging behaviours</li></ul><p><br />The head teacher is looking for committed and passionate individuals to promote the schools values of Respect and Resilience, provide challenges and development opportunities to the children so that they are always learning and to become an integral part of the team by contributing to the ongoing development of the school.<br /><br />The teachers and support staff work to provide a calm and consistent environment for their pupils, where hard work is acknowledged and excellence is rewarded. This is also the case for the staff at the school, as the Senior Leadership Team likes to recognise their colleagues' efforts and successes.<br /><br />The position is to work Monday - Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, term time only.
