As a modern employer, we empower you to be yourself, share ideas and work collaboratively Scientist (GVGH serology and immunology) (temporary contract – 3 years) GSK Global Health R&D vaccines (GVGH) main goal is to develop vaccines against diseases mainly affecting low- and middle-income countries. As part of GVGH research function, the serology and immunology lab evaluates cellular and humoral immune response induced by vaccine candidates against pathogens (bacteria and viruses) both at preclinical and early clinical level, by developing and using High-Throughput immunoassays. The immunologist will be part of a vibrant team of scientists, will independently contributes to the conception, design, and interpretation of scientific data in support of research projects. In this role you will… • Characterize in depth the immune response induced by vaccine candidates, both in terms of cellular response (B- T cell response) and humoral response (antibody level and quality) as well as evaluation of functional response by neutralization assays, bactericidal assays or other cell-based assays.
