Sr. Full Stack Java Developer

Republic Finance is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer. This role will report to and work with the Head of Software Development and be a member of a growing, 5 person Software Engineering team with substantial opportunity for future growth within the company in concert with driving business expansion. Key responsibilities are as follows: • Development of new features within existing applications • Work with internal Dev Ops teams to deploy and resolve issues for systems • Coordinate with our Architecture Review Board to delivery enterprise level solutions • Interact closely with other developers and Quality Engineers in a team environment to resolve defects and clarify business needs • Must be a self-motivated, collaborative teammate that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Requirements • 8+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Software Engineer • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • Current experience with Java web development • Experience working with React for UI • Experience working with Microsoft SQL (writing queries / stored procedures / indexing) • Understanding of best practices (SOLID principles / commonly used Gang of Four design patterns) Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: • Experience with Micronaut framework • Experience working with distributed computing technologies such as Azure Service Bus, NServiceBus, Rabbit MQ, AWS SQS, etc. • Experience working with C
