About the Location Hybrid Position: This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart’s FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs. Fully Remote Position: This position is considered to be Fully Remote and work is done from another location outside of Phoenix Home Office (within the United States). Associates that are considered to be Fully Remote do not have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can expect to be asked to travel to Phoenix Home Office several times a year [or more], based on business needs and in partnership with leadership. Associates that are considered to be Fully Remote will acknowledge the “Remote Work Agreement” upon hire. Onsite Position: This position is considered to be Fully Onsite, work is to be done onsite at a PetSmart location (Phoenix Home Office, PetSmart stores, Merchandise Development Center, Distribution Centers or another PetSmart site). Field Position: This position is considered Field based and is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Field associates will spend their time both traveling to and spending time in various PetSmart locations and can expect to be asked to travel to Phoenix Home Office periodically throughout the year. Field associates typically work out of their home office when not traveling as outlined above. About the Job Summary/Purpose: The ServiceNow Developer role is primarily responsible for configuring and developing core and custom solutions in PetSmart’s ServiceNow platform to help optimize and automate business processes. You will be working with the broader automation group to design, develop and support various workflows that will help PetSmart associates from all departments and functional areas do work more efficiently and effectively. Ability and desire to consult and advise on best practices and optimal solutioning is key to performing well in this role. Essential Functions: Develop ServiceNow solutions and enhancements using core Platform capabilities, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub Work with automation business analysts, the automation COE lead, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and design optimal solutions Design, develop and deliver automated workflow solutions using ServiceNow’s orchestration capabilities Enhance ServiceNow workflows with integrations to other automation technology (e.g. Robotic Process Automation and Alteryx) via REST APIs. Enhance your solutions using advanced business rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, and UI Policies Design and develop ServiceNow reports and dashboards to enhance end-user functionality and experience Maintain and grow understanding of ServiceNow modules and capabilities Qualifications: 3+ years of ServiceNow design, development and implementation experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related field is desirable but not required Full understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes (CMDB, Catalog Items, Requests, RITMs, Incidents, Problems, etc.) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management preferred ServiceNow Certified Application Developer status is highly desirable Must have effective communication skills (oral and written) and be able to work well with team members, stakeholders, etc. About the Culture At PetSmart, we work hard to create a culture where every associate feels like they truly belong and we celebrate the unique stories, backgrounds, and experiences our associates share.
