This is a temporary role which contributes to the production of all Cargo security systems and support the build of various mechanical, pneumatic sub-systems and component sub-assemblies. Responsibilities Must be able to interpret mechanical drawings Follow the instructions of the team leader both verbally and written Apply relevant mechanical skills and experience to carry out tasks as required Ability to devlelop, understand and follow lift plans Use of hand tools, including grinders, drills, saws etc Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and operate in a manner which does not endanger the job holder or the personnel around him/her Qualifications Experience: A team player working with other disciplines to progress the job Flexible approach Willing to work overtime where neccescary 3+ years of experience in a similar role Ideal Qualifications: Ideally time served apprentice in mechanical or similar discipline but not essential Forklift licence Overhead crane operator and slinging qualifications OSI Systems, Inc. has three operating divisions: (a) Security, providing security and inspection systems, turnkey security screening solutions and related services; (b) Healthcare, providing patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology and anesthesia systems; and (c) Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, providing specialized electronic components and electronic manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers with applications in the defense, aerospace, medical and industrial markets, among others.
