They strive to up skill the sector, and working to create a more supportive environment for charities to operate in.</p><p>An opportunity has come up within the Commercial Services Department for a Membership Administrator The purpose of this role is to provide an exceptional customer experience to anyone who accesses charity's range of products and services. You will support their customers and members throughout their journey to become loyal and engaged partners.</p><p>The way in which they provide such excellent service for their customers is by ensuring that one team is responsible for administering each and every customer needs from start to finish whether that is processing events bookings, to attending events to meet and greet new members, to dealing with their queries and passing on their feedback.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Here are some of the things you could expect to do:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide a first line support service, either by phone, e-mail or in person, by responding to requests for information from members and non-members within agreed timescales;</li><li>Record details of requests made so that patterns can be identified and that the department can continuously improve its support;</li><li>Administration of membership schemes on recruitment, during renewals and on an ad hoc basis;</li><li>Respond to enquiries about membership, passing on details to Events and Corporate teams if required;</li><li>Process new member applications, ensuring that all data is entered correctly and ensure that all relevant member information has been sent out;</li><li>Create sales orders for event bookings requested by phone, e-mail or mail;</li><li>Review and validate event bookings created online to ensure that there are no duplications of customer or contact details and that the customer is invoiced the correct amount;</li><li>Provide pre and post event administration, including production of delegate lists, badges, attendance records and evaluations;</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Experience needed:</strong></p><p>You will be comfortable with working on concurrent activities and be confident in liaising with people by e-mail, phone and in person. You will have experience of maintaining effective office systems and working in an administrative function well as using databases and online systems.
