Wood Process &amp; Energy are looking to recruit an Onshore Site Construction Lead with experience in site based Construction Management to support on a major EPC p roject within the Renewable Energy market. The opportunity will be available on a fixed term basis for a duration of 12 months with the possibility to extend long term.<br />

To be considered you will have extensive and detailed knowledge and experience in medium and large scale Construction projects across constructability, construction execution, CDM, development of construction strategies, input to planning.<br />

<b>Responsibilities:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Providing discipline expertise to the business and our client whilst driving safety leadership.</li>
<li>Delivering Construction activities in line with Construction Excellence.</li>
<li>Manage project in accordance with project CDM regulations in the role as principal contractor.</li>
<li>Actively promoting the Wood core values, policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Reviewing planned activities for constructability, construction execution and providing accurate feedback.</li>
<li>Providing technical expertise and guidance on all construction related activities.</li>
<li>Management of key stakeholders in the execution and delivery of contracted activities.</li>
<li>Set and apply strategic and tactical direction with regard to policy, procedures, work force staffing, and budgeting.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Ensure management of third party suppliers in the execution of operational delivery.</li>
<li>Effective delegation to ensure the continuity of work scope execution.</li>
<li>Ensure competence of direct reports and review in accordance with competency assessment programme.</li>
<li>Manage succession planning Field Construction and performance for direct reports and hire scopes</li>

<b>Expected:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Demonstrable experience in a similar major EPC Construction execution role within the Energy industries.</li>
<li>Experience with construction plans and specifications, tracking RFIs and submittal&
39;s, and developing project documentation.</li>
<li>Ideally it is preferred you will have detailed knowledge and experience in the Renewable Energy market.</li>
<li>Trade discipline background, with Degree/HND/HNC or similar.</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience and understanding of completions management systems.</li>
<li>Knowledge of local labour market.</li>
<li>Experience tracking and analysing cost and schedule and knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera preferred.</li>
</ul>

<p><b>External:</b></p>

<li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with our external customer and third party vendor.</li>
<li>Manage interfaces across functional and business boundaries.</li>
<li>Engage with and promote the construction community including networking and knowledge sharing.</li>
<li>Maintain communication with respective focal points.</li>
</ul>
