CONTEXT: </p>
<p>

<p>
The Post Holder will be allocated to an Asset Geosciences team and will actively contribute to HSE evaluation of operations; develop, recommend and implement reservoir management strategies to maximise the value of the Asset (i.e. production optimisation); identify, develop and promote opportunities for further development of the fields. The Post Holder may be called onsite to witness operations on an ad hoc basis.</p>

MAIN ACTIVITIES:</p>

<p>
Evaluate resources and reserves ranges of field development projects in association with G&amp;G colleagues. Expected to provide an evaluation of subsurface risks and uncertainties of these projects. Autonomous use of reservoir simulation techniques, model building, decline curve analysis.</p>
<p>
Performs analysis of field and well production behaviour incorporating G&amp;G understanding of the field in order to define the reservoir management strategy and to propose production optimising operations. Prepares Well Intervention Requests and WSOR documents.</p>
<p>
Called offshore to witness relevant operations such as PLT's, perforations, Cased hole Pulse Neutron logging, Well Testing, offshore PVT sampling and production chemistry</p>
<p>
Performs yearly reserves and profile evaluations for the Prime, LTP exercises. Performs prospect evaluations. </p>
<p>
Present evaluations to Partner meetings, HQ peer reviews, UK authorities</p>

Involved in Prospect evaluations</p>

<p>
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
Minimum BSc Hons Degree in Engineering or related discipline (MSc preferred)</p>
<p>
Previous experience in the oil industry, including field experience of reservoir monitoring activities (i.e. witnessing DST, wireline logging, perforations)</p>
<p>
Understanding of geological and geophysical concepts such as sequential stratigraphy correlations, geophysical interpretation, seismic acquisition and processing.</p>
<p>
Understanding of project economics, well construction concepts and hazards, completion operations and design, well lift performance, allocation.</p>
<p>
Fully autonomous in reservoir engineering techniques: numerical simulation, well test interpretation, material balance, production logging analysis, PVT analysis, and other company standard reservoir engineering interpretation tools. Understanding of SEC reserves booking.</p>
