<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br><b> Senior Piping Designer (Site Based) </b><br><br> Wood Process & Energy are seeking immediate Senior Piping Design services with demonstrable site based experience to facilitate work on an ongoing EPCm project within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry for 3 months. <br><br><b> Join a culture of innovation , pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. </b><br><br> Based at our client site facility in the North East, t he appointed Designer will c arry out extensive site surveys in accordance with Wood and our client safety regulations. <br><br>If all of this sounds good to you, review the typical responsibilities of the role and the requirements of the position below, then follow the link to apply and start your journey with Wood. <br><br><b> Workscope: </b><br><ul><li> Produce hand sketches to indicate tie-in design. </li><li> Provide site survey and piping design services using hand sketches and AutoCAD 2D software. </li><li> Produce 2D Piping Tie-in drawings. </li><li> Achieve safety standards as defined in personal performance contract. </li><li> Carry out work in accordance with company and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems. </li><li> Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process. </li><li> Design 2D AutoCAD software. </li><li> Ensure that designs comply with all relevant technical standards and procedures. </li><li> Maintain good communication with the project team and with the client. </li><li> Maintain discipline filing system, both electronic and hard copy. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>At Wood, we understand and acknowledge that everyone is different, and we are committed to equal opportunities and want to access all of the talent that is out there.
