The Supplier Quality Inspector 2 performs inspection for compliance to specifications as available–on drawings, job tickets, and samples, etc. This may be at different levels–either for receiving inspection, or in-process inspection, or FA inspection of the final product. The person in this role will document acceptance/rejection of product and submit nonconforming product to supervisor/manager for disposition. They will keep thorough record of results. Calibration of Inspection, Measuring and Test equipment as assigned. Other responsibilities may include receiving inspection, in-process inspection, miscellaneous lot inspection, FA inspection of simple single layer parts, assistance to other inspectors in taking CMM measurements on parts and assistance to the supplier Quality Engineer on Quality Projects. Require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Essential job responsibilities include: Inspect product for visual, dimensional, and functional characteristics and document FA inspection report per the applicable format (AS9102) Program coordinate measuring machine for measurement routines Measure parts for different departments in the company; train other inspectors to use CMM Review associated documentation for completeness and accuracy Record inspection results on job tickets and other documents Contact other personnel to arrange meetings for disposition of non-conforming product Calibration of inspection, measuring, and test equipment >
