The Role: Index Governance Operations Team Lead The Grade/Level: (relevant for internal applicants only) 12 The Location: NYC, NY The impact: S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking an effective leader with strong editorial skills to manage a team in the Index Governance Operations- Index Methodologies group. This team focuses on ensuring that index methodology documents are complete, concise, and consistent, and be a key driver and owner of the workflows and processes that are required to maintain the document library. Responsibilities: The Index Governance Operations Team Lead for Index Methodologies is responsible for managing a team responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the index methodology document library. The Team Lead is expected to be an expert in all methodology-related workflows, including the drafting of new index methodologies and revisions to existing methodologies. In addition, the Team Lead must successfully manage a global team of methodology analysts to oversee and maintain the entire combined methodology library to ensure all methodology policies and practices are satisfied, including ensuring the entire methodology team is meeting their obligations and adhering to all applicable best business practices. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Understanding of indices, their use and how they work 2 - 5 years of applicable, practical experience Experience leading a team Eager to learn and highly motivated Strong editorial skills Detail oriented Ability to organize and maintain a large volume of information. Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only) S&P Global states that the anticipated minimum base salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 depending on experience, with addition to bonus. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
