S&P Global Commodity Insights The Role: Associate Director Bio-feedstocks, Bioenergy and Biofuels Grade/Level 8 The Location: London, United Kingdom The Team: You will be part of the EMEA agribusiness consulting team that works on agricultural and bioenergy projects for both commercial and public sector clients. This diverse team works collaboratively with the wider global agribusiness team on projects as well as with other S&P Global consulting teams in areas such as energy, chemicals, macroeconomics, maritime and mobility. The Impact: Working in the biofuels, bioenergy and bio-feedstocks area you will be at the forefront of our decarbonization and energy transition research and analysis, helping clients develop new sources of clean energy supplies and supporting our company-wide effort to develop new intellectual property in this area. This is a rapidly evolving and dynamic sector and the work connected with this position will both help secure new sources of energy while at the same time deliver lower carbon intensity solutions for the economy. Responsibilities: You will be a key member of the S&P Global Agribusiness Consulting team. You will play a significant role in all areas of our agribusiness consulting as well as having the opportunity to work and develop specific areas of interest. Key responsibilities include: applying your specific knowledge base to client projects working as part of a team of consultants on very large, highly complex projects; on smaller projects, working independently on project execution and delivery working collaboratively across geographies within agribusiness consulting as well as other consulting groups within S&P Global being flexible in working on projects in other areas of agribusiness What We’re Looking For: From a research and/or consulting capacity you will also have: Substantial agribusiness and biofuels/bioenergy experience. Traditionally acquired by working for industry, consulting, technology firms and/or government. Post-graduate degree (likely to be in agriculture, energy, business or economics). Highly organized and creative skills, with accomplished time and project management. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills; English language required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and to navigate and excel in a complex, matrix organization. Ability to work within, and on occasion lead and manage, teams Solid leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
