Senior Manager Testing Services, Technology Services EMEA

Job Description Johnson & Johnson is currently looking for a Senior Manager Testing Services as part of the EMEA Technology Services department. The role is primarily responsible for the overall strategy, the approach, and governance of the testing portfolio. Other responsibilities are driving test automation implementation, enabling cross-project learning, knowledge sharing and standardization on testing. The senior manager testing services will work alongside other software and product development professionals to align on a solid development and testing approach to bring to market products of the highest quality and commercial potential. You will innovate automated testing solutions for new product development. You will develop and use continuous integration pipelines for test execution and automate integration tests using hardware simulation and electromechanical robotics. It is key to this role and the success of our team that you mentor junior developers and delegate all aspects of software testing to those individuals. You must become versed in our regulation-based documentation protocols and quality management approach. Job Responsibilities Your responsibilities and tasks as a Senior Manager Testing Services will include: Define strategic well-rounded test strategy and approach Define test automation approach and guidelines Lead new investment casting product development by ensuring suitability of internally-developed processes, specifications, instructions and test methods Adopt product-thinking in the overall test approach and build up a test suite as a by-product of the application under test, to be demonstrated by project, build and operations teams. Lay out test planning, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality in alignment with project planning Ensure the timely delivery of different testing achievements Track and report out on testing progress, status, risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies Observe and promote all regulatory requirements as defined per applicable regulations, rules and procedures established by the Company or relevant national/international standards and advises any violation or deviation to an immediate supervisor or appropriate authority. Implement a training approach in support of improving test outcomes and the adoption of test (automation) tools Closely collaborate with global/regional business and technology partners Work together and seek alignment with all project partners including quality departments Coach, mentor, empower and supervise leads and teams assigned to the testing activities Definition and monitoring of quality goals and key performance indicators through various operational and metric centric dashboards Qualifications About the candidate 7+ yrs. experience in a QA Lead, Test Lead or Test Manager capacity Certification in testing (ISTQB, QAI, …) is a plus Strong understanding of software delivery methodologies, large IT projects, project management and/or test management. Experienced level experience with HPALM, JIRA, XRAY or other test management tools In-depth knowledge of test automation approaches and technologies Consistent track record of steering and leading multiple distributed teams Attention to detail with strong written, verbal communication and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal, time management and decision-making skills Strong capacity for operating in a global/regional multi-layered environment where creative and critical thinking is required.
