Overview Quality Assurance Technician (Night Shift) Provide coordination and technical support in the area of Quality Assurance with an emphasis on consumer requirements, continuous product quality, productivity improvement, product safety and regulatory management. Collects and analyzes data, formulates conclusions and communicates recommendations to influence and support business decisions. Responsibilities Provide leadership in the identification and implementation of product and process quality improvement opportunities and resultant productivity gains. Lead risk assessment analysis. Manage issues with non-conforming product to assure proper control, minimize losses and provide analysis to eliminate future occurrences. Assist in the development and implementation of the HACCP/Food Safety Plan. Update and maintain Quality Manuals to include specification, formulation, and traceability manuals. Review and release production to Logistics. Assist in the preparation for all audits conducted by internal or external personnel: F22K audits, AIB audits, regulatory audits, etc Manage plant trials/protocols for ingredients, processes and materials. Coordinating activities of QA team and other plant teams, data collection, sampling and shipping requirements Must be able to train and perform all aspects of in-plant micro testing Manage the sanitation requirements including micro sampling, documentation control and training Responsible for documentation control Responsible for other duties as assigned by the QA Manager or QA FLL Qualifications Working knowledge of Microsoft business software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Statistical Graphing Programs and Outlook Preferred three years of technical skills experience preferred in all areas of Quality Assurance Ability to work independently and very self motivated Strong organization skills. Attention to detail. Familiar with FDA regulations and experience in performing internal audits Clear understanding and working knowledge of Compliance Quality Systems Excellent communication and project management skills Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
