LIFEX Instrument & Control System Method Engineering

<p>Activities</p>

<p>1. Promote client&
39;s values &amp; safety culture within the project and managed activities. Lead by example, coach team members and colleagues to adhere and contribute.</p>

<p>2. Ensure safe and ethical working practices are carried out within managed or interface activities.</p>

<p>3. Be conversant with latest revision of client&
39;s Angola referential, ensure these and local rules/laws are complied with and captured within contractual requirements.</p>

<p>4. Contribution to the reporting of anomalies and incidents and participate as well to diagnosis and corrective actions</p>

<p>5. Updating the Safety logic diagram and F&amp;G matrix.</p>

<p>6. Implementation of the HIPPS Dossier (GS SAF 260) and all instrumentation related entry in the SAFETY DOSSIER.</p>

<p>7. Maintenance of the meters and analysers as required by ISO 14001.</p>

<p>8. Similar to a RSSC for BLOCK 17 and communication with COMPANY RSSC-L on a regular basis (CR EXP 016).</p>

<p>9. Preparation of a training program for the trainees engineers in the frame of the identified needs and in accordance with recognized methods and strategies.</p>

<p>10. Training based on Job examples and directly in contact with the maintenance of the FPSO</p>

<p>11. Evaluation of the trainees&
39; performances in Instrument and control system.</p>

<p>12. Proposition of a strategy for the operation and the maintenance for all the instruments, related equipment and Distributed Control System + PLC (i.e. Remote Maintenance and Diagnosis...).</p>

<p>13. Proposition of yearly targets to monitor the performance of the instrument related maintenance and corresponding KPI</p>

<p>14. Reporting of ICS activities</p>

<p>15. Follow up of the trading of salesmen and/or suppliers</p>

<p>16. Management of the ICS related documentation. (vendor, ICS specs...) and of the instrument data base S4I.</p>

<p>17. PSV certification plan</p>

<p>18. In liaison with Material balance, Process engineers and Operating department, definition of the optimum strategy for the maintenance of process metering instruments and custody transfer equipment</p>

<p>19. Audit of contractors as necessary</p>

<p>20. Supervision of the management of spare parts for ICS according to pre defined strategy</p>

<p>21. Supervision of the preparation of the scheduled overhaul/upgrade</p>

<p>22. Participation to the SMR/RFM and SMIS procedure</p>

<p>23. Interface with projects</p>

<p>24. Provide relevant REX to the ICS trade (head office)</p>

<p>25. Reporting of ICS activities</p>

<p>Context and environment</p>

<p>PBF is the brownfield project division of client&
39;s Angola and benefits of a matrix organization. It&
39;s managing projects from FEED/Basic Engineering to Startup/ hand-over to Block Field Operation teams. The nature of the brownfield projects, i.e. most of the execution activities offshore are executed in SIMOPS on live FPSOs (Girassol, Dalia, Pazflor, CLOV on Block 17 and Kaombo Norte and Sul on Block 32) and congested seabed, increases the risks and consequently the challenges of the projects (co-activities with other projects and maintenance activities, minimization of production shortfalls...). PBF is managing EPCI contracts with major international Contractors but also local players including onshore prefabrication in Angola, offshore construction and Installation (FPSO modifications, SURF, SPS, SIMOPS, high number of contractors &amp; subcontractors).</p>

<p>Accountabilities</p>

<p>&bull; To ensure that COMPANY HSSE standards are applied throughout the various stage of execution of the Contract.</p>

<p>&bull; To Propose modifications of the maintenance strategy according to Site requirements.</p>

<p>&bull; To evaluate the competency and the performances of the contractors in Instrumentation</p>

<p>&bull; To Contribute in your technical area to the integration of the future Block 17 developments.</p>

<p>&bull; To Participate to audits.</p>

<p>Qualifications/Experience required</p>

<p>&bull; Professional Experience (years): 10 - 15 years</p>

<p>&bull; Experience in similar position (years): more than 5 years of experience in ICS Engineering. Participation to a recent deep-water project.</p>

<p>&bull; Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent</p>

<p>&bull; Languages: English mandatory,</p>

<p>&bull; Good communication skills, organizational skills and positive attitude.</p>
