<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />
<br />
Wood Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) Consultancy has been established to assist clients achieve their climate change ambitions. While supporting clients develop the organisational framework and arrangements to assess and manage climate related risks and opportunities.<br />
<br />
The team is providing a full decarbonisation consulting service with a strong technical engineering emphasis. The Senior CFR Consultant will be responsible for the execution of proposals, studies and projects and provision of advisory services to our clients including;</p>

<ul>
<li>supporting clients understand and baseline their current greenhouse gas emissions,</li>
<li>performing cradle-to-grave lifecycle analysis and modeling,</li>
<li>screening decarbonisation opportunities for supply and demand side reduced carbon intensity solutions across the development lifecycle from conceptual design to decommissioning,</li>
<li>at a strategic level, work with clients to develop a systematic framework for the management of decarbonisation including defining overarching strategies, plans &amp; detailed roadmaps with key milestones, journey enablers, timeframes, drivers and identifying on-route threats, risks, and uncertainties,</li>
<li>performing assessments and advising clients on transitional opportunities and risks, including policy drivers and incentives,</li>
<li>evaluating and advising on offsetting and crediting mechanisms including carbon pricing and providing third party emissions verification services in the energy and mining sectors.</li>
</ul>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b><br />
<br />
<b>Education &amp; Skills:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>University Degree in Process Engineering, Engineering Science, or a Sustainable Development-related discipline or climate related subject</li>
<li>Preferred approximately 5 years&
39; experience in energy sector</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead business development and project teams&nbsp;</li>
<li>Strong health, safety, and environmental mindset</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency in international best practices in energy and carbon efficiency</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills and can systematically break a complex task into more manageable parts and identify the critical components of a problem</li>
<li>A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Demonstrable high-quality report writing and presentation skills</li>
<li>Good organisational and project management skills</li>
<li>Keen to learn and keen to share learning with others</li>
</ul>

<p><b>Desirable:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Background in decarbonisation studies</li>
<li>Has experience in assisting clients to map energy and fuel usage and associated carbon equivalent emissions</li>
<li>Has experience in assisting clients to identify and screen emissions reduction opportunities</li>
<li>Chartered to an internationally recognised Professional body</li>
<li>Good negotiation skills</li>
<li>Second language</li>
