­ditional Information About the Role Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, an Accredited Chest Pain Center which carries a Level II stroke certification is seeking a Receptionist I for our Radiology Department. The role provides a welcoming environment and is a vital part of the work we do by ensuring great customer service to our patients. If you have prior customer service experience and enjoy working with people, this role may be for you. Hours: 7:00 am-4:00 pm May work weekend and holiday rotation Overview Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the Breast Health and Women’s Center, the Cardiology Center, the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification. Additionally, the hospital’s medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, dermatology, surgery and pulmonology. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital also offers outpatient services including physical therapy, a sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation. At Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, every decision is made in the best interest of patients and families. Imaging Services department provides the following services: General, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Digital Mammography, CT Scan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, PET/CT Scan Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose To provide a welcoming environment to all who seek services whether in person or by telephone. Support all client direct service efficiently through effective triage. Responsibilities Types and distributes memos, correspondence and reports and composes documents as needed. Schedules meetings and appointments, routes correspondence. Tracks, organizes and maintains supply inventory for the department and orders fresh supplies as necessary. Greets visitors, answer and screens phone calls, transfers calls and takes messages. Approves departmental time tracking for payroll purposes.
