Senior Procurement Specialist

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is seeking expression of interest from Procurement Specialists to join our team in Hides, Hela province (PNG) on a Fly in Fly Out rotational schedule (28 days on /28 days off). <br><br>Our Supply Chain team support a number of projects and this role is critical in ensuring that all procurement services are managed effectively for our global clients. Working closely with Project Managers and the Construction teams, you will be a key advisor for all supply chain procurement matters on site. <br><br><b> You will take on a range of responsibilities including: </b><br><ul><li> Selection and Evaluation of Suitable Suppliers prior to Tendering </li><li> Issue of RFQ Tender Documents to Suppliers </li><li> Preparation of Commercial Bid Evaluations </li><li> Assume the Role of Focal Point for all Bid Clarifications </li><li> Negotiation of all Commercial issues with Successful Suppliers </li><li> Collation of Commercial and Technical Evaluations and Preparation of Joint Recommendations </li><li> Selection of Terms and Conditions of Purchase </li><li> Authorisation and Issue of Purchase Orders to Approved Suppliers </li><li> In conjunction with Expediter develop a Field Expediting Strategy for
