Manager Production Finance

Who are we hiring? • Supervise weekly and monthly Production cash flow reporting for active shows in production • Support the production cash management process by identifying risks and opportunities • Liaise with the international team on production spend reporting • Assist on budgeting of new shows and live events • Assist in implementing of a studio cost allocation system • Create a production finance dashboard with appropriate KPIs • Drive the implementation of production accounting manual • Assist in documenting production finance workflows • Assist production accountants with onboarding processes, PSL software, cost reports, etc. • Participate in yearly budgeting process • Ad hoc reports on various production related projects What will you do? • Manage cashflow reporting process. • Assist in preparation of production budgets, annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks for MSG Sphere Studios • Work with production accounting to create better visibility into costs • Work with production teams to communicate risks and opportunities • Improve current forecast methods across all teams • Special projects as assigned What do you need to succeed? • Minimum 4-6 years production accounting/finance analysis experience. FP&A experience is a plus. Entertainment industry experience required. • Strong communication skills are required to work independently with all levels of management to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision. • Advanced skills in Excel and Power Point are required. • PSL+ and Movie Magic Budgeting required. Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is a strong plus. Why is MSG for me?
