About Our Practice The Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) practice in the Greater Toronto Area is a dynamic group of internal auditors, enterprise risk specialists, engineers, data storytellers, and project managers who pride themselves on creativity, innovation, and high quality. Our practice works with a diverse set of clients across industries and sectors as they are faced with emerging risks as they achieve their strategic agenda. What you will do The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of client services, business development, and practice development activities including the following: Interact with executive stakeholders, including Board of Directors, Senior Leadership, and Audit Committee members. Assisting organizations with the development, implementation, and execution of internal audit plans and projects. Developing risk and audit plans for project management functions. Performing project management and project performance audits (which includes reviewing project plans and other artifacts, conducting analysis on quantitative information, and analyzing key risks for major projects across several areas, etc.). Possess an inquisitive mind with a knack for problem solving, researching, and developing innovative solutions to problems. Be agile, able to learn on the fly, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and take the initiative to spearhead different activities. Deliver multiple and simultaneous client engagements varying in size, scope, and complexity. Leverage your creativity and design skills in business development efforts including proposals, marketing material, internal and external presentations. What you bring to the role 3 to 5 years in positions related to project management, governance, internal audit and risk management, and/or other relevant business experience. Possess a post-secondary degree in Engineering, Risk Management, Economics, Business, Statistics, Finance or Accounting. Visualization and communication skills using PowerPoint and other tools, like the Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, etc. Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment. Professional designation (e.g. in PMP, CAPM, P.Eng, E.I.T, CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CIA, etc) is a plus. Flexible and willing to learn new ways, methods, and approaches. Ability to clearly convey concepts and services to clients at varying levels of seniority. Self-motivated and is willing to ask probing questions to uncover client opportunities.
