INVESTMENT/PROJECT PORTFOLIO MANAGER

At <b>Eni</b>, we are looking for an <b> Investment </b><b> /Project Portfolio Manager </b> within Eniverse in Milano. You will be responsible for supporting the Directors in portfolio management, investment structuring and managing financial and legal concerns on both Eniverse as well as venture levels. Also you will actively contribute to project management of ongoing projects and qualify the prospect ones. <br> <br> You will support ventures across a variety of topics, including market- and financial analysis. Furthermore you will be involved in the m onitoring and support of the portfolio ventures coordinating the financial and business activity of the invested projects. <br> <br> You will be in charge of coordinating the team according to the strategy and the activity defined for each ventures. <br><br><b> About Eniverse </b> <br> <br> Eniverse Ventures is Eni's Corporate Venture Builder that leverages proprietary technologies by creating new entrepreneurial initiatives in the energy transition. Eniverse Ventures goal is to identify and scale up to industrial level the technological solutions, either its own or third-party, with the highest potential that have been in the market for less than three years. <br> <br> In particular, the company works on the complete innovation value chain from incubation of technologies to validation with the market and finally to business modelling with the set up of new ventures supporting them in the scale-up phase. <br><br><b> As a member of </b> <b>Eniverse you will be responsible for</b> : <br> <ul> <li> Management and contribution to the origination process (internally and externally) </li> <li> Preparation and support of Eniverse and venture reporting, including Venture Builder-level financial analysis </li> <li> Support to resident ventures in identifying future trends, technologies, and business models, working directly with founders (and other investors) to build business models from scratch </li> <li> Analysis of financial and legal aspects of the investments in the Venture Builder (cap tables, term sheets, round modeling, financing and shareholder agreements, etc.) </li> <li> Provision of the link between Eniverse strategy and the Ventures' annual business plans, and individual accountabilities. </li> <li> Project portfolio management </li> </ul> <br><br><b> This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements </b> : <br> <ul> <li> University degree in Economics, Management or Engineering; other qualifications may be considered if there is an experience of interest </li> <li> 5+ years experience in a primary consulting, financial services firm, or in a private equity / (corporate) venture capital fund, or corporate finance / M&A function, ideally with management experience </li> <li> Experience with financial modeling is required </li> <li> Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel and Powerpoint </li> <li> Financial analysis and modeling skills </li> <li> Fluency in English is required </li> </ul> <br><br><b> Location </b> <br> <br> Milano <br><br><b> Employment contract </b> <br> <br> Permanent Local <br><br>At Eni we believe in enterprising people, capable of making a difference and making their contribution with passion and innovation, to respond to the global challenges of the energy transition.
