Job Description Design, Size & Deploy Redhat Openstack solution by capturing the technical and business requirements. Complete analysis of business requirements, as it relates to technical design, and ensure traceability of the design to the business requirements. Take ownership of issues and provide technical leadership in providing real-world solutions Good hands-on experience in deploying and managing Redhat Openstack, automation and orchestration technologies Design, build, manage, integrate and operate the infrastructure and configuration of Redhat Openstack Exhibit a deep understanding of server virtualization, networking and storage ensuring that the solution scales and performs with high availability and uptime. Work in close collaboration with project teams and provide technical leadership for projects on server deployment, server security, optimization and sizing exercise. Responsible for reviewing pre-solution & for Delivery Assurance. Responsible for providing technical support for project team (s) during different stages in the project. Responsibilities and duties Experience in deploying private cloud solutions based on Redhat Openstack Working experience in multi hypervisors like KVM, ESXi , Xen and Hyper V Implementation & configuration experience across multiple OpenStack releases. OpenStack experience in multiple areas; compute, storage and network experience, security, UI customization, integration, orchestration, automation, monitoring and reporting Excellent Linux Administration and scripting skills. Knowledge on Linux (RH, SuSE) Cluster Technologies Knowledge on Cloud Computing concepts like Iaas,PaaS,SaaS etc. Troubleshoot any issues on OpenStack environment & services. Strong administration experience on managed workload on Openstack. Understanding of OpenStack Components and services Experience in design & deployment OpenStack infrastructure projects Ability to trouble shoot Cinder,Nova,Neutron etc. Knowledge on Object Storage Technologies like Swift, CEPH Should have previous experience on design, implementation, migration / Upgrade virtual infrastructure based on KVM/ VMware to Openstack Strong knowledge on cloud technologies. Qualification and Required Skills 6 – 9 years SME for Linux, Virtualization and Openstack Experience in design, deployment, integrate, administrate & troubleshoot of Openstack Experience automating deployments with modern configuration and deployment management systems (Ansible, SaltStack, etc.) Security Hardening - Supported security recommendations Experience remediating identified vulnerabilities Good communications, consultancy & presentation skills Good collaboration and team working skills Well versed in learning and adopting new technologies Understanding of standard application architectures and well versed with ISO standards for IT Infrastructure Previous experience on migration / Upgrade of other virtualizations such as KVM / Xen. Previous experience in cross-platform migrations (VMware to Openstack KVM etc…) Open Stack certified professional OpenStack
