Openshift Administrator

Job Responsibilities: Designs, develops, modifies, tests and evaluates OpenShift / Docker / On-Prem / Public Cloud Software designs that support the system requirements of different levels for technical and business application projects. Exposure to containerization, the Docker project, Kubernetes, and OpenShift Understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Configure and deploy OpenShift Enterprise master hosts Configure and deploy OpenShift node hosts Deploy the OpenShift Enterprise authentication Manage OpenShift Enterprise resources Use OpenShift Enterprise to deploy applications, Experience in CI/CD Pipeline. Have scripting experience in shell, python. Work in close collaboration with development teams and provide technical leadership forprojects on server deployment, server security, optimization and sizing exercise. Employment Status · Full-time Educational Requirements · Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE, EEE, ECE, ETE · Preferred Professional Certification: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Experience Requirements · 6 – 9 years SME for Virtualization / Containerization. · Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes, etc.. · Experience in administering and supporting the OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem for the organization in both public cloud and on premise. Additional Requirements · Expert in OpenShift administration including upgrading, creating namespaces, user administration etc. · Extensive experience with Openshift, Kubernetes, and Docker · Experience automating deployments with modern configuration and deployment management systems (Ansible, SaltStack, etc.) · Security Hardening - Supported security recommendations · Experience remediating identified vulnerabilities · Must be familiar with Security audits. · Good communications, consultancy & presentation skills · Good collaboration and team working skills · Well versed in learning and adopting new technologies · Understanding of standard application architectures and well versed with ISO standards for IT infrastructure OpenShift
