Job Description Job Description Technology Consultant Job Details Posting Job Title Session Border Controller Job Purpose The SBC engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise SIP/VoIP connectivity to Conduent’s internal and external constituents. Responsibilities Responsibility 1 Designing, integrating, and troubleshooting on Oracle SBCs. Responsibility 2 Taking charge of the telecom platforms and leads the direction on best practices for supporting a SIP infrastructure. Responsibility 3 Setting standards and direction for the Oracle Communications product stack. Responsibility 4 Troubleshooting Oracle issues including P1 and P2 events. Responsibility 5 Working with business partners, vendors, and internal technical teams to design and implement new IP Telephony solutions. Responsibility 6 Serving as technical lead on projects by documenting, coordinating and executing configuration changes in the area of contact center systems. Responsibility 7 Serving as the subject matter expert to set technical direction and give operational guidance to operational support teams. Responsibility 8 Developing technical standards, defines operational processes, write configuration for contact center telecommunication and collaboration infrastructure. Responsibility 9 Providing Oracle Engineering for projects planning activities to align with project deliverables and deadlines. Responsibility 10 Analyzing system and application data to ensure system stability and improve system performance and providing recommendations for remediation of issues. Requirements (Skill/Experience) Requirement 1 Understand cross-organizationally to set-up and/or resolve issues with the network infrastructure team, firewall team, contact center team, voice services team Requirement 2 Manage for third party vendor (Oracle and Avaya) management, along with SIP carriers Requirement 3 Provide support to the Oracle systems that provide entry and direct our service partners on addressing any support activity. Requirement 4 Experience with (Session Border Controllers, Session Routers, Enterprise Operations Monitor, SIPREC Recording, Call Routing).
