39;Ingénieur(e) R&D en Géophysique (F/H), vous intégrerez le groupe de recherche microsismique afin de travailler à la conception et aux tests de nouveaux produits microsismiques, principalement basés sur des algorithmes et des logiciels.<br />

A ce titre, vous serez chargé(e) de :<br />
<br />
• Concevoir et faire évoluer les produits de traitement et d&
39;interprétation microsismiques existants afin d&
39;améliorer les fonctionnalités et/ou de réduire les coûts.<br />

• Développer et/ou superviser l&
39;ingénierie de prototypes de produits de traitement microsismique ou d&
39;interprétation.<br />

• Créer des projets de conception microsismique et des fiches techniques.<br />

• Aider à l&
39;analyse technique du marché pour évaluer la compétitivité technique des produits.<br />

• Réaliser des analyses microsismiques, identifier des problèmes, diriger la formulation de méthodes nouvelles et innovantes pour résoudre les problèmes.<br />

• Participer et contribuer aux réunions de l&
39;équipe de R&D microsismique pour discuter des caractéristiques des produits et développer de nouvelles idées.<br />

• Être titulaire d&
39;un Master 2 et/ou d&
39;un doctorat en Géophysique, traitement du signal et de l&
39;image, mathématiques appliquées, science des données et analyse, ou dans un domaine technique similaire.<br />

• Posséder une expérience significative dans l&
39;industrie, notamment en sismologie/traitement de données sismiques.<br />
<br />
• Démontrer une expérience pratique en matière d&
39;algorithmes de traitement et de codage innovants.<br />

• Connaître l&
39;acquisition (micro) sismique, les techniques de détection/localisation, le traitement numérique du signal, la modélisation numérique, l&
39;inversion et l&
39;optimisation, ainsi que la science des données.<br />

• Justifier d&
39;une expérience dans le développement de logiciels scientifiques, y compris la capacité de programmer en Python, Matlab ou C++.<br />

We are looking to hire a dynamic, creative, and resourceful Microseismic R&D engineer for the Microseismic research group to work on the design and testing of new microseismic products, mostly algorithm and software based<br />

As a Microseismic R&D Specialist, you will be responsible for:<br />
<br />
• Designing and evolving existing microseismic processing and interpretation products to enhance functionality or reduce costs.<br />
<br />
• Developing and/or overseing the engineering of microseismic processing or interpretation product prototypes.<br />
<br />
• Creating microseismic design projects and specification sheets.<br />
<br />
• Assisting with technical market analysis for evaluating the technical competitiveness of products.<br />
<br />
• Conducting microseismic analysis, recognizing issues, leading the formulation of new and innovative methods to resolve problems<br />
<br />
• Participating and contributing to Microseismic R&D team meetings to discuss product features and develop new ideas<br />
<br />

To be successful in this role you will:<br />

• Have a MSc and/or PhD in Geophysics, Signal/Image Processing, Applied Mathematics, Data Science and Analytics, or similar technical field.<br />
<br />
• Have significant industry experience including seismology/seismic data processing.<br />
<br />
• Demonstrate record of hands-on experience in innovative processing algorithms and coding.<br />
<br />
• Have Knowledge of (micro)seismic acquisition, detection/location techniques, digital signal processing, numerical modeling, inversion and optimization, as well as data science.<br />
<br />
• Have Experience in scientific software development is required, including ability to program in Python, Matlab, or C++.<br />
<br />
• Have Computational and algorithmic knowledge is required, along with experience in implementing processing approaches in high-performance and demanding environments (reliable near real-time alert systems).<br />
<br />
• Be a good communicator and fluent in English and French<br />
