<p>
Job Objective<br />The Instrument and Control Engineer provides operations and maintenance support to offshore installations. Acting as the onshore technical focal point for instrumentation, control, metering and telecommunications.<br /><br />Core responsibilities of this position:<br />Execute agreed design and engineering and deliver quality output on time and within budget ensuring defined requirements are met.<br />Provide technical support with regards to the repair and maintenance of equipment.<br />Reviewing planned maintenance routines.<br />Raising modification requests and reviewing modification requests raised by others.<br />Raising contract service orders (technical work scopes) for vendors.<br />Reviewing technical content of maintenance frame agreements and determining spares requirement for items of equipment.<br />Report on progress, setbacks, opportunities and risks, concerns and anomalies to both job leader and line manager.<br />Keep knowledge and skills up-to-date and pro-actively share with discipline team and others.<br />Propose, develop and maintain discipline standards, improvement initiatives, templates and tools in liaison with the line manager to improve quality and cost-effectiveness.</p>

Requirements</p>
<p>
A creative and organised Instrument Engineer with excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability. Furthermore, you will have:<br /><br />An HNC/HND or BSc in Instrument Engineering or equivalent (Chartered/Incorporated preferred)<br />Necessary certification for offshore travel essential.<br />(TUV Rheinland) Functional Safety Engineer Certification (preferred).<br />Demonstrable experience in an operational process environment, preferably within the Offshore / Oil and Gas sector data.<br />Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br />Computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications and relevant discipline specific software.</p>
