Senior Principal Engineer - Offshore (Civil & Structural)

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood India is currently recruiting Senior Principal Engineer- Offshore Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas Offshore & petrochemical industry. <br><ul><li> Coordination with other disciplines, project & site for Civil inputs, schedules and related issues </li><li> Preparing / Checking of Calculations, General Arrangement & Detail Drawings and MTO </li><li> Attending inter discipline meetings, internal model reviews & model review with client </li><li> Monitoring and meeting the project schedules on submissions of Civil deliverables </li><li> Ensuring all deliverables are comply with quality as per Wood / Client specifications & standards. </li><li> Review of vendor drawings/other discipline drawings for adequacy of Civil design input requirements </li><li> Must have sound working experience in using Indian, British, Euro and American standards for Civil & structural and marine works. </li><li> Thorough experience in production of deliverables including dynamic analysis , seismic Analysis , Transportation & Lifting Analysis and weight control management. <br></li><li> Preferred have experience on constructability review <br></li><li> Must have experience in material estimation, schedule, resource planning and resource development activity. The work experience in the revamp project added advantage. <br></li><li> Exposure to American petroleum Industry APIRP2A & AISC <br></li><li> Experience in SACs, STAAD offshore and Sesam anlysis and design tool </li><li> Exposure to Quality need of ISO 90001 & Environment need of ISO 14001 along with safety Design review of HAZID,HAZOP,F&G ,IPF requirements <br></li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> BE / B.Tech Civil Engineering with 10 - 15 years experience <br></li><li> Specialist Graduate Engineer in Engineering Design & Detailing of Civil & Structural works of Marine / ocean /offshore structures should be conversant with international codes and standards </li><li> Major experience should be from offshore works specific to upstream Oil & Gas facility design. </li><li> Experience in the preparation of FEED & Detail Engineering of offshore works independently and also carried out Checking / Review of deliverables in at least one project is essential. </li><li> Work exposure to 3D tools (E3D/PDMS) using navis work and discipline Analysis & Design software such as Staad, Staad off shore, SAACs, SEASAM is required. </li><li> Preferred Hands on experience on proposal estimate including man hour estimate, Cost & Quantity estimate </li><li> CEng,MICE,MIE membership is added advantage. </li><li> Master degree in offshore/Ocean/ Marine works preferred. </li><li> Experience on preparation of the Design calculation through XL spread sheet will be plus point. </li><li> Field Engineering Experience after completion of home office engineering will be added advantage </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
