<b>Job Purpose</b><br />
<br />
Performs a full range of duties and functions of technical oil spill response and preparedness, related to prevention as well as response and coordination on spill clean-up operations. Serves as the work Director on assigned projects.<br />
<br />
<b>Responsibilities</b><br />
<br />
DUTY1 / effort % (020)<br />
Provides work direction and technical guidance for activities related to<br />
Marine pollution<br />
control.<br />
<br />
DUTY2 / effort % (020)<br />
Provides technical engineering direction and advice to Pollution Control<br />
Units during<br />
their routine clean-up activities.<br />
<br />
DUTY3 / effort % (010)<br />
Oversees the preparation of documents, and Leak and Spill Reports<br />
required by Aramco and<br />
Government authorities.<br />
<br />
DUTY4 / effort % (010)<br />
Provides technical engineering expertise to the Division in regards to<br />
maintenance of<br />
existing equipment, preparation of equipment specifications and purchase<br />
of new equipment.<br />
<br />
DUTY5 / effort % (010)<br />
Participates with Regional Oil spill Coordinator in the preparation of<br />
oil spill<br />
contingency plans.<br />
<br />
DUTY6 / effort % (010)<br />
Assists in the development of Pollution Control training Courses for<br />
Marine personnel and<br />
oversees implementation, including scheduling of such courses for groups<br />
of personnel, and<br />
providing onsite direction.<br />
<br />
DUTY7 / effort % (010)<br />
Performs audits on pollution control vessels and inspects oil spill<br />
equipment. Documents<br />
results of audits and prepares inspection reports.<br />
<br />

Performs other miscellaneous related duties as requested by the Global<br />
Oil Spill Response<br />
