Chenega Enterprise Systems and Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a SharePoint Developer to support SharePoint Development to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP), Office of the Director, (OD). This person develops graphical user interfaces for web based systems and provides programming to DHQP branches and teams. The Computer Programmer II runs a link scan of all websites and provides expertise in the design and layout of SharePoint sites. Responsibilities Develop graphical user interfaces for web-based systems that supports various projects in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP Work with DHQP branches and teams on all phases of web development including evaluation, analysis and design, development, and subsequent ongoing maintenance and support Provide programming to DHQP branches and teams using standard approaches for SharePoint. Run a link scan of all websites under the review of the computer programmer (between 10—16) once a month to ensure that there are no broken links or errors. Document all procedures used throughout the program to allow the program to be run as part of a system, and complete systems documentation to enable a subsequent programmers to make changes. Revise existing programs to make refinements, increase operating efficiency or improve present techniques Provide expertise in the design and layout of SharePoint sites. Be proficient with the use of a variety of multi-media such as flash animation and use of various players Qualifications Four (4) years of Programming or similar work experience Completed Bachelors Degree Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Professional working knowledge within SharePoint Professional interpersonal and computer skills, to include but not limited to, skills in operating Microsoft Office software, with emphasis on Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook as well as SharePoint. Skills in managing and prioritizing multiple assignments with strict deadlines and ability to coordinate efforts among many offices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written). Expertise to prepare and present information/data via oral briefing(s) and/or by written reports
