Senior Application Analyst

The Senior Application Analyst will be responsible for the technical administration and overall health of assigned products and information systems. Successful applicants will have a broad technical base coupled with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and can communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the business. The ideal candidate additionally places heavy emphasis on safety, best practices, and due diligence. This position can be based in our Baton Rouge, LA or Plano, TX offices, and has the option of being hybrid/remote. Job responsibilities are as follows: Perform application troubleshooting and leverage appropriate tools and resources to drive remediation Identify deficiencies within existing products and lead solutioning efforts Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure consistent delivery, monitoring, and support of internal deliverables Find opportunities to drive efficiency gains through updates to products and procedures and then spearhead those efforts Maintain clear and open lines of communication with appropriate stakeholders as necessary Requirements 5+ years of combined experience in development, application, or technology support roles in the financial sector 5+ years of experience in administrating and maintaining Windows Servers Fluent in a modern programming language Proficient in a modern scripting language Ability to read and write applicable SQL code Understands the concepts and principals behind ALM and SDLC Effective verbal and written communicator Works equally well both within and outside of a team dynamic Disciplined self-starter capable of balancing competing priorities while maintaining high levels of due diligence, diplomacy, and quality Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective customer and peer relationships Experience with DevOps practices with an emphasis on testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment preparation Ability to parlay application knowledge into appropriate recommendations for performance monitoring Able to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where creative and critical thinking is required Experience with documenting business and IT processes Able to conceptually reverse-engineer existing solutions to understand architecture and logic Ability to successfully apply existing technical and process knowledge to new scenarios Working knowledge of web server administration, monitoring, and maintenance Fundamental understanding of core networking technologies, protocols, and tools (ICMP, Telnet, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, subnetting, gateways, etc.) Understands security best practices and ensures high-level compliance Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including: Health/Dental/Vision Paid Time Off (PTO) 401 (K) and employer match Company provided Life Insurance & Long Term Disability Additional benefits with Republic Finance include: Employee of the Month Program Philanthropic support for charities such as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the American Cancer Society Professional offices with a friendly team environment Republic Finance, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age disability or veteran status in employment opportunities and benefits.
