Project Engineering Manager / EM I

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineering Manager to work on the engineering and project management services in Al - Khobar office <br><br><ul><li> Competently manage and lead a large multi-discipline engineering team </li><li> Familiar with project work sequence, activities and deliverables for engineering disciplines at any project phase with knowledge and understanding of a contract </li><li> Ensure the project Quality Management System supports deliverables preparation and method of execution </li><li> Generate and authorize key documents including those directing engineering strategy and implementation </li><li> Able to understand and manage the technical scope </li><li> Ensure instructions are issued to allow work to progress and facilitate agreement between conflicting requirements and leads way forward </li><li> Challenge working method and deliverables and ensure that project team knows and complies with project scope </li><li> Develop and manage the engineering input to the project schedule and drives the engineering team to comply with the requirements, meet milestones and key performance indicators </li><li> Ensure that requirements for design verification are identified, scheduled and resourced </li><li> Understand the project Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) issues and ensures these are handled correctly </li><li> Identify risks and implements mitigations </li><li> Competently develop manhour estimates and execution strategy for various disciplines during proposal stage </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Bachelor's Degree in Engineering </li><li> 10+ years of experience in oil & gas project </li><li> 5+ years' experience as Project Engineering Manager </li><li> Preferably with experience from Aramco Project or GCC region projects </li><li> Commercially astute and understands the different approaches required in managing lump sum and reimbursable work </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
