Responsibilities Quail Run Hospital is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run Behavioral Health. POSITION SUMMARY: Quail Run is seeking a dynamic and talented Registered Nurse to work for a TEMPORARY APPOINTMENT (duration is 13 weeks with option to renew for additional 13 weeks). The Registered Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Registered Nurse (RN) documents and reassesses any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy. The RN completes and report acuities to supervisor for the next shifts staffing levels. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing One (1) year of inpatient psychiatric experience and one (1) year medical/surgical experience preferred. Currently licensed to practice by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or compact privileges Must complete and maintain training in CPR and HWC – aggression management, crisis intervention and restraint training. Training may be obtained during first week of employment during new hire orientation. HOURS / SCHEDULE: Your exact work schedule will be discussed during the interview. This is TEMPORARY 13-WEEK ASSIGNMENT. Must work 3 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 13 weeks. Day or night shift is available.
