This exciting role offers opportunity to: Drive Crouse-Hinds and B-Line product demand and sales through specification with End-Users/Owners, Engineering Procurement and Construction Firms (EPC’s), Architectural and Engineering (A & E) Firms, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Design and Build Contractors (DB). Manage these activities throughout Japan while implementing KPIs developed by leadership. Support existing/global project specification sales teams with technical support and product applications Responsible for strategic planning: Define key global project opportunity pipeline with 2-5 years outlook. Execute key account global specification KPIs as set by management. Key account penetration, relationship development and relationship management. Coordination with global specification and pursuit team on domestic Japan EPC offices Develop and implement global specification strategy for assigned Japanese key accounts Effectively develop and deliver technical seminars for Owners, EPC’s, OEM’s, Distributors. Maintain documentation and sales tools for use in product presentations and technical training. Stay abreast of new technology to support efficient specification and specification sales growth Support new product releases and secure specification for the products and product solutions Accountable for managing the technical support to customers across all Crouse-Hinds and B-Line channels (Electrical and Mechanical) on a pre-sales and post-sales basis. Facilitate close collaboration and project intelligence sharing between Engineering Solutions and Sales Management, including other Eaton divisions. Qualifications The candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering degree from an accredited university. 5+ years’ experience working within an End User, EPC or OEM in the Energy and Power markets, or a Specification Engineering, Design Engineering, Engineering or Sales position within electrical industry. Experience working on major global industrial projects in specification and application design Proven technical design ability, specification and application solution development are essential. Strong technical evaluation, technical consultation, and interpretation skills 3D and 2D design knowledge will experience/ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience and working knowledge of Hazardous Area standards and design principles Electrical design experience within an industrial EPC or OEM Written and spoken English and Japanese language skills EPC or Industrial OEM experience preferred Proficient in the use of MS 365 MBA an advantage Yes!
