<br />
As a Gas Turbine Operability Engineer, you will evaluate the GT operability of Baker Hughes products.<br />
<br />
As a Gas Turbine Operability Engineer, you will be responsible for:</p>

<ul>
<li>Analyzing different scenarios relevant to steady state and transient performance and fuel gas burnability both in mechanical drive and power generation application to define the best configuration limits to meet customer requirements.</li>
<li>Working with different engineering teams to build Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine models of Baker Hughes products perform simulations using different simulation platforms (e.g. Aspen, Easy5, Matlab/Simulink)</li>
<li>Working with Plant &amp; Module team to develop Combined Cycle Plant Modeling &amp; Simulation</li>
<li>Defining, based on the operational limits (e.g. combustion, speed transients, start up), the operability philosophy to be translated in control specification.</li>
<li>Participating to New Product development programs</li>
</ul>

<p><b>Fuel your passion</b><br />

To be successful in this role you will:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have a Master&
39;s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university or college</li>
<li>Have professional experience with Baker Hughes products and some knowledge of Gas Turbines performance, fuels applicability and Combined Cycle Plant Modeling;</li>
<li>Have knowledge of Turbines &amp; Combined Cycle thermodynamics and control philosophy</li>
<li>Be familiar with at least one of these tools such as Aspen Plus, Unisim, Hysys, Easy5 and Matlab/Simulink simulation software and knowledge of fortran programming;</li>
<li>Demonstrate design creativity and problem solving capabilities</li>
<li>Be able to work in a global environment team</li>
<li>Have passion for technology and be open mind to explore new solutions.</li>
</ul>
