The Druck Aerospace Sensors Senior Product Manager will be responsible for devising and executing a portfolio strategy for a range of Aerospace sensor products. As a Senior Product Manager you will champion growth and continue the evolution and development of Druck&
39;s Aerospace sensor product ranges, collecting VOC (voice of customer) to establish CTQ (Critical to Quality) requirements and translate into product marketing requirements in close coordination with the Commercial and Marketing teams.<br />
<br />
Additionally, as the Senior Product Manager you will determine prioritisation and execute on elements of CPO (Custom Product Opportunities) and NPI (New Product Introduction) activity, VOC gathering for MGPP (Multi-generational Product Plan) development and then develop and execute on an agreed strategy.<br />

In this role you will work cross-functionally, developing practical and innovative ways to meet goals, fostering growth, innovation and customer centricity. The role holder will also have responsibility for development and maintenance of the full product life cycle, developing the products&
39; MGPP, partnering with the Marketing team to devise Marketing campaigns and guiding our Commercial organisation where appropriate.<br />

This role will require both customer and vendor engagement. The role will involve spending time in Leicester, UK, along with global travel totalling up to 30% of your time.<br />
<br />
As a Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Building upon the overall vision and strategy for Druck, the role holder will be a key contributor to LRP (5-year long range strategic plan) MRP (3-year plan) and AP (1-2 year plan) for their product portfolio, working closely with the Product Management, Marketing, Technology, Supply Chain, Project Management, Quality and Commercial teams to align product features, price positioning & value proposition messaging to market requirements to achieve portfolio growth & profitability objectives.</li>
<li>Collaborative ownership with relevant functions of contribution margin for this portfolio, including making and implementing proposals for margin enhancement - e.g. pricing alterations, cost-out and/or product mix optimisation.</li>
<li>Own customer targeting and positioning strategies by analysing market data trends including customer segments, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and VOC (voice of customer).</li>
<li>Establishing the vision and strategic plan for the assigned product lines, contributing and defining the overall investment requirements for the product portfolio with a focus on increasing portfolio competitiveness, vitality and profitability.</li>
<li>Providing product and application training as well as key account support to the Commercial team.</li>
<li>Forming strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to develop deep understanding of relevant market trends that inform strategy and product roadmap development</li>
<li>Defining and leading appropriate market segmentation, immersive competitor awareness and positioning strategies for the product line with a focus on driving differentiated value propositions.</li>
<li>Responsible for development and defined elements of execution of product roadmaps, New Product Introductions (NPI) & CPO (Custom Product Opportunities) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).</li>
<li>Working closely with Marketing and Commercial team to understand strategies being used by competitors, as well as their likely responses to our strategies.</li>
<li>Strong alignment with the Aerospace Engineering team to understand Druck&
39;s technical capabilities in order that this can be translated into value proposition for customers.</li>
<li>Outlining customer requirements to the Aerospace Project Management team and collaborating to achieve adherence to customer&
39;s scheduling and delivery requirements for Aerospace sensor supply programmes.</li>
</ul>

<li>Have Masters or bachelor&
39;s degree in business, engineering or science-based discipline plus technical experience in sensing technology or equivalent knowledge & experience.</li>
<li>Have demonstrable ability to build a strategy in highly competitive environment and be comfortable in working with ambiguity.</li>
<li>Have proven ability to mentor and develop a cross-functional team and work in a matrix / functional organization where all opinions are valued and respected</li>
<li>Able to escalate appropriately based on urgency. Will not hesitate to ask for support if needed to achieve defined strategic goals.</li>
<li>Be the product expert - balancing technical and commercial knowledge to possess the ability to handle queries regarding relevant aspects of product support.</li>
<li>Have ability to produce technical content and deliver technical presentations as the subject matter expert for relevant products at internal and external events</li>
<li>Understand and be willing to learn more about customer applications across traditional markets such as Commercial and Military aviation and emerging markets such as Space and AAM (Advanced Air Mobility).</li>
